Hello Robert – Thank you for the advice. I am currently consulting for an attorney's office in Brooklyn and feel I am ready to spread my wings. I have already joined a local Kiwanis and feel I am getting plugged in. I have great experiences but feel that I need access to additional resources for Network Security. I feel that clients are looking for the securist network possible at the lowest price. Do you have a solution?

So you are doing this right now, your runnig an IT consulting firm? How many years?
You talk about 4 then 8 or 10, how many client s do you have now?
What monitoring software is being used and what is the cost?

Every few months I hire a new consultant. And when I read the hundreds of resumes that come in, at least half... sometimes 3 out of 4... the candidate has a point where they tried to start their own gig by taking on a few "side-clients". I know mist guys who have the skills to maintain a network would LOVE to be able to do it for themselves. It's the perfect job.

But almost everyone who tries it just sucks at it. Why? It's not because they don't have the tech skills.

It's because they try to run on the dead-as-dead, guaranteed-to-fail business model of charging hourly rates to come running to the customer's office whenever there's a fire to put out.

They also don't have the first clue on how to market their business and get the few quality clients they need quickly and easily.

I know how to operate a computer consulting business on the correct business model. I've been doing it successfully for 14 years. I also know how to market my business and get new customers. I have the marketing materials that get the job done. I use them myself and I know they work.

I can show a budding or struggling computer consultant how to get him or herself off the ground quickly. I can give him or her the marketing materials needed to get the clients needed to start generating a full-time income very quickly.

I know how to do it and I can share that knowledge with others.

That's why I'm doing this.
